About the Event
Join us Earth Day (April 22) by spending time outdoors doing yoga and eating Earthly gifts– Plants!
There will be TWO DIFFERENT sessions, one at sunrise and the other at sunset.
Be sure to sign up for the correct session.
Yoga will be instructed by Brittany Simmons and food and tea will be provided by Next Day Nutrition!
It will be a gentle yoga, so all levels are welcome.
We are meeting on the beach near the Long Beach Pavilion, so you can park in that parking lot (to the left of Long Beach Harbor when facing the water).
Prior to our sessions, you will be given an herbal tea to sip and have time to settle in before the session.
The sunrise yoga session will begin at 6:45am and the sunset yoga session will begin at 6:00pm.
Following yoga, you will be given breakfast or dinner (depending which session you choose) and hear some simple health tips from our hosts!
Whether you’re there for the yoga, for the food, or just want to get out the house, we’d love to see you there and have an opportunity to connect with other health-conscious individuals in the area!
Since we will be doing yoga in the sand, it is recommended to bring a large beach towel or even a sheet to perform yoga on. If you’d like to bring your yoga mat, you can place your mat on top of the towel/sheet!
And lastly, seeing that it’s Earth Day, once we’re done eating, we’ll be doing a casual stroll down the beach to pick up any trash we may see. If you care to, you’re welcome to join!
